Why are my heels cracked?
Cracked heels are a common foot problem caused by dry skin on the bottom of your heels, which cracks and splits.
While it may seem like a purely cosmetic issue, deep cracks in the skin can lead to irritation, bleeding, and even infection.
To prevent cracked heels, you should use a heel balm daily (try our Heel Balm with Manuka Honey), inspect your feet daily to look out for any early signs that cracks could be developing, wear appropriate and supportive footwear, avoid standing for long periods of time and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
By following these preventative methods and seeking treatment when necessary, you can help keep your feet healthy and pain-free.
